We’re less than a month into 2014 but developers have already been hard at work to create the best new iPhone apps.

Apple (AAPL) is responsible for creating some of the coolest apps out there but there are also a ton of great apps from third-party developers. From an incredible update to the cloud storage app Box to a newer and better Angry Birds, check out January’s best new iPhone apps.

AAPL stock is down 1.8% Friday afternoon.


Box has already been around for a bit but the app’s latest update it makes it one of the month’s best new iPhone apps.

The popular iOS cloud storage app has more than 20 million users that share files, important documents, photos and more. The latest Box update allows users to access 50 GB of free storage to those who download the new version in the next month.

Angry Birds Go!

Angry Birds Go! is a racing game that was born out of the popular Angry Birds series and it’s one of the best new iPhone apps in January.

The incredible new Rovio Entertainment game allows you to throw birds and pigs in order to distract your opponents while you try to win the race.. An update of Angry Birds Go! came out on January 14 which doesn’t have the same bugs as the last version.

Localeur is an app that’s perfect for those who love to travel to new cities.

The Room Two

The Room Two is the much-anticipated sequel to the popular puzzle game The Room.

This mysterious game exists in a “beautiful tactile 3D world,” according to the Apple Store. The Room Two is perfect for iPad users as the size of the tablet makes the 3D world really come to life, but the iPhone version is just as good. The game was recently updated for cloud issues and minor bug fixes.
