Update: Apple (AAPL) is preparing to release iOS 8.1 on Monday and it will bring several new features with it, reports MacRumors. Features that will be added in iOS 8.1 include SMS relay, Instant Hotspot, Apple Pay, Camera Roll and iCloud Photo Library. While iOS 8 users will surely welcome the new features, they’ll also be happy to know that the update will include patches to fix several issues that the operating system has.
Bose
: Apple has removed all Bose speakers and products from its online store, AppleInsider notes. The company decided to remove Bose products following the settlement of a lawsuit between Bose and Beats. It’s unknown if the removal of Bose products from the company’s stores was part of the settlement or it they were removed for another reason. Prior to the removal, there were 17 Bose products available in the online store.
MacBook: A petition demanding for Apple to fix issues with its 2011 MacBook Pros now has more than 18,000 signatures, reports 9to5Mac. The petition was started by upset owners of 2011 MacBook Pros that experienced GPU glitches that are believed to be caused by a manufacturing fault. The company has offered to replace the logic boards in the affected MacBook Pros, but it would charge owners for the repairs. The petition wants the company to repair or replace affected MacBook Pros for free.
