Capital goods stocks finished up broadly on Wall Street on Friday, with the sector seeing an overall increase of 1.4%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 1.1%, the Nasdaq rose 1.0% and the S&P 500 was up 1.1%.

Some of the biggest gainers among capital goods stocks include:

• Exelis Inc. Common Stock New Wh (XLS): XLS stock is up 2.9% today.

• Lennar Corp (LEN): LEN stock is up 2.2% today.

• BE Aerospace (BEAV): BEAV stock is up 1.9% today.

• Boeing Company (BA): BA stock is up 1.8% today.

• Colfax Corp (CFX): CFX stock is up 1.7% today on 2 times normal volume.

• Cummins Inc (CMI): CMI stock is up 1.6% today on 2 times normal volume.

• Raytheon Company (RTN): RTN stock is up 1.5% today.

• Agco Corp (AGCO): AGCO stock is up 1.5% today.

• Spirit Aerosystems Holdings (SPR): SPR stock is up 1.5% today.

• General Dynamics Corp (GD): GD stock is up 1.4% today.

Some of the biggest losers among capital goods stocks include:

• Chicago Bridge & Iron Company N.V. (CBI): CBI stock is down 0.5%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Armstrong World Industries Inc (AWI): AWI stock is down 0.4%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Watsco Inc (WSO): WSO stock is down 0.4% today.

• Terex Corp (TEX): TEX stock is down 0.3% today.

• Trinity Industries (TRN): TRN stock is down 0.3%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Moog Inc (MOG.A): MOG.A stock is down 0.1% today.
