iPhone: While the Apple (AAPL) iPhone 6 was only recently released, there is already speculation surrounding the iPhone 7

, reports ValueWalk. Among the expectations for the iPhone 7 is a release date set sometime around September and October of 2015. This falls in line with the release of the iPhone 6. There are also expectations that the iPhone 7 will have a higher level of HD available to it through beefed up resolution. The display may be covered in sapphire glass, which was a  rumor that surrounded the iPhone 6 before it was released.

A8: A test of the A8 chip in Apple’s iPhone 6 and 6 Plus revealed that it can handle playing 4K videos, MacRumors notes. The recently discovered capabilities of the dual-core A8 chip was made by developers for the WALTR app, which allows for media conversion to native iPad and iPhone formats. While the devices won’t be able to take full advantage of 4K videos due to their limited resolutions, the videos will still be able to be watched on them.

Apps: Apple is now seeing 7.8 million downloads a day from users of its iOS App Store, reports AppleInsider. The data was revealed by a company tracking App Store downloads and is for October. The 7.8 million downloads a day is a significant increase over the 5.5 million downloads a day that the company saw in September. The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were released in September and its likely that the boost in downloads last month comes from the release of the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3.
