More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average stayed consistent, the Nasdaq was up 0.3% and the S&P 500 was steady.

- Nationstar Mortgage Holdngs I (NSM): NSM stock is up 2.4% today.
- National Western Life Insurance (NWLI): NWLI stock is up 1.8% today.
- Amtrust Financial Services (AFSI): AFSI stock is up 2.0% today.
- TD Ameritrade Holding Corp (AMTD): AMTD stock is up 2.0%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.
- CBOE Holdings (CBOE): CBOE stock is up 2.2%, marking the 11th consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Molina Healthcare Inc (MOH): MOH stock is up 1.7% today.
- Mercury General Corp (MCY): MCY stock is up 1.8% today.
- The Carlyle Group L.P. (CG): CG stock is up 1.2% today.
- Home Bancshares (HOMB): HOMB stock is up 1.1%, marking the eighth consecutive day the stock has increased.
Some of the biggest losers among financial stocks include:
- Banco Santander Brasil Sa (BSBR): BSBR stock is down 7.7% today and down 20.3% in the last month.
- Health Net Inc (HNT): HNT stock is down 5.5% today.
- Banco Bradesco Sa (BBD): BBD stock is down 2.8% today.
- Shinhan Financial Group Co Ltd (SHG): SHG stock is down 2.9% today.
- Fortress Investment Group (FIG): FIG stock is down 2.8% today.
- Governor and Company of The Bank of Ireland (IRE): IRE stock is down 2.6% today.
- Itau Unibanco Banco Holding Sa (ITUB): ITUB stock is down 2.3% today.
- Ocwen Financial Corp (OCN): OCN stock is down 2.4% today.
- Royal Bank Scotland Group Plc (RBS): RBS stock is down 2.3% today.
- Erie Indemnity Company (ERIE): ERIE stock is down 2.1% today.
