More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.4%, the Nasdaq was up 0.3% and the S&P 500 increased 0.4%.

- Southwestern Energy Company (SWN): SWN stock is up 4.1% today.
- Range Resources Corp (RRC): RRC stock is up 3.9%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Transocean Inc (RIG): RIG stock is up 3.6% today.
- Diamond Offshore Drilling (DO): DO stock is up 3.4% today.
- Carrizo Oil & Gas (CRZO): CRZO stock is up 3.3% today.
- Nabors Industries (NBR): NBR stock is up 3.1% today.
- Cabot Oil & Gas Corp (COG): COG stock is up 3.1% today.
- Cimarex Energy Co (XEC): XEC stock is up 3.0% today.
- Eqt Corp (EQT): EQT stock is up 2.8% today.
Some of the biggest losers among energy stocks include:
- Plains All American Pipeline L.P. (PAA): PAA stock is down 3.5% today.
- Atlas Pipeline Partners L.P. (APL): APL stock is down 3.0%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Petrobras Argentina S.A. (PZE): PZE stock is down 2.5% today.
- Legacy Reserves LP (LGCY): LGCY stock is down 2.5% today.
- Amerigas Partners L.P. (APU): APU stock is down 2.4% today.
- Penn West Petroleum Ltd (PWE): PWE stock is down 2.6% today.
- Nustar Energy L.P. (NS): NS stock is down 2.2% today.
- Yanzhou Coal Mining Company (YZC): YZC stock is down 2.2% today.
- Qr Energy LP (QRE): QRE stock is down 2.0% today.
- Petrochina Company Limited (PTR): PTR stock is down 1.9% today.
