Basic materials stocks finished down on Wall Street on Friday, down 2.8%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 1.6%, the Nasdaq fell 1.1% and the S&P 500 was down 1.6%.

• Terra Nitrogen Company L.P. (TNH): TNH stock is up 2.0% today.

• Fibria Celulose S.A. (FBR): FBR stock is up 0.4% today.

Some of the biggest losers among basic materials stocks include:

• Freeport-Mcmoran Inc. (FCX): FCX stock is down 5.2% today on 2 times normal volume.

• Methanex Corp (MEOH): MEOH stock is down 5.0% today and down 24.8% in the last month.

• Steel Dynamics (STLD): STLD stock is down 4.4% today.

• Curtiss-Wright Corp (CW): CW stock is down 4.4%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Ternium S.A. (TX): TX stock is down 4.4% today and down 20.3% in the last month.

• Leucadia National Corp (LUK): LUK stock is down 4.2% today on 4 times normal volume.

• Albemarle Corp (ALB): ALB stock is down 3.9%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Gold Fields Ltd (GFI): GFI stock is down 3.8% today.

• Commercial Metals Company (CMC): CMC stock is down 3.7% today.

• Air Products and Chemicals (APD): APD stock is down 3.6% today.
