• National Steel Corp (SID): SID stock is up 3.3% today.

• Sasol Ltd (SSL): SSL stock is up 3.1% today.

• Hudbay Minerals Inc (HBM): HBM stock is up 3.2% today.

• Yamana Gold (AUY): AUY stock is up 3.1% today.

• Iamgold Corp (IAG): IAG stock is up 3.0% today.

• Mrc Global Inc (MRC): MRC stock is up 2.9% today.

• Gerdau S.A. (GGB): GGB stock is up 2.6% today.

• Bhp Billiton Plc (BBL): BBL stock is up 2.3% today.

Some of the biggest losers among basic materials stocks include:

• Precision Castparts Corp (PCP): PCP stock is down 13.5% today and down 20.3% in the last month.

• Greif Bros. Corp (GEF): GEF stock is down 4.4% today.

• Carpenter Technology Corp (CRS): CRS stock is down 2.8% today.

• Cliffs Natural Resources Inc (CLF): CLF stock is down 2.5% today.

• Greif Bros. Corp (GEF.B): GEF.B stock is down 2.0% today.

• Simpson Manufacturing Company (SSD): SSD stock is down 1.2% today.

• Aluminum Corporation of China Ltd (ACH): ACH stock is down 1.3% today.

• Syngenta Ag (SYT): SYT stock is down 1.3% today.

• Sinopec Shangai Petrochemical Company Ltd (SHI): SHI stock is down 1.2% today.
