Energy stocks fell broadly on Wall Street so far on Tuesday, with the sector seeing an overall decline of 1.4%.
More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average remained flat, the Nasdaq was up 0.3% and the S&P 500 stayed consistent.
Some of the biggest gainers among energy stocks include:
- Petroleo Brasileiro S.A.- Petrobras (PBR.A): PBR.A stock is up 1.9% today.
- Cosan Limited (CZZ): CZZ stock is up 1.9% today.
- Interoil Corp (IOC): IOC stock is up 1.7% today.
- Marathon Petroleum Corp (MPC): MPC stock is up 0.7% today.
- Petroleo Brasileiro S.A.- Petrobras (PBR): PBR stock is up 0.4% today.
Some of the biggest losers among energy stocks include:
- Precision Drilling Corp (PDS): PDS stock is down 6.7% today.
- Pengrowth Energy Corp (PGH): PGH stock is down 6.2% today.
- Whiting Petroleum Corp (WLL): WLL stock is down 6.2% today and down 20.1% in the last month.
- Baytex Energy Corp (BTE): BTE stock is down 6.4% today.
- Oasis Petroleum Inc (OAS): OAS stock is down 6.8% today and down 25.2% in the last month.
- Encana Corp (ECA): ECA stock is down 5.7% today.
- Continental Resources (CLR): CLR stock is down 4.4% today.
- Wpx Energy Inc. Common Stock W (WPX): WPX stock is down 5.3% today.
- Denbury Resources (DNR): DNR stock is down 5.0% today.
- Sm Energy Company (SM): SM stock is down 5.1% today.
