Utilities stocks rose broadly on Wall Street today, with the sector seeing an overall increase of 2.1%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average pushed 1.1% higher, the Nasdaq increased 1.6% and the S&P 500 pushed 1.1% higher.

  • Wisconsin Energy Corp (WEC): WEC stock is up 2.2% today.
  • Alliant Energy Corp (LNT): LNT stock is up 2.2% today.
  • Centerpoint Energy Inc (CNP): CNP stock is up 2.2% today.
  • Portland General Electric Company (POR): POR stock is up 2.1% today.
  • Dte Energy Company (DTE): DTE stock is up 2.1% today.
  • Cheniere Energy (LNG): LNG stock is up 2.0% today.
  • Northwestern Corp (NWE): NWE stock is up 2.0% today.
  • Markwest Energy Partners LP (MWE): MWE stock is up 1.9% today.
  • Integrys Energy Group (TEG): TEG stock is up 1.9% today.

Some of the biggest losers among utilities stocks include:

  • Covanta Holding Corp (CVA): CVA stock is down 0.3% today.
  • Cheniere Energy Partners LP (CQP): CQP stock is down 0.1%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
