• Century Aluminum Company (CENX): CENX stock is up 1.5% today.

• Sinopec Shangai Petrochemical Company Ltd (SHI): SHI stock is up 1.8% today.

• Arcelormittal (MT): MT stock is up 1.4% today.

• Alcoa Inc (AA): AA stock is up 1.0% today.

• Mrc Global Inc (MRC): MRC stock is up 0.9% today.

• DOW Chemical Company (DOW): DOW stock is up 0.6% today.

• Domtar Corp (UFS): UFS stock is up 0.7% today.

• Actuant Corp (ATU): ATU stock is up 0.6% today.

Some of the biggest losers among basic materials stocks include:

• Royal Gold (RGLD): RGLD stock is down 5.2% today.

• Agnico-Eagle Mines Limited (AEM): AEM stock is down 5.3% today.

• National Steel Corp (SID): SID stock is down 4.9% today.

• Randgold Resources Limited (GOLD): GOLD stock is down 4.9% today.

• Kinross Gold Corp (KGC): KGC stock is down 5.1% today.

• Gold Fields Ltd (GFI): GFI stock is down 4.3% today.

• Goldcorp Inc (GG): GG stock is down 4.4% today.

• Newmont Mining Corp (NEM): NEM stock is down 3.8% today.

• Barrick Gold Corp (ABX): ABX stock is down 3.9% today.

• Anglogold Ashanti Ltd (AU): AU stock is down 3.8% today.
