Transportation stocks finished up broadly on Wall Street on Friday, with the sector seeing an overall increase of 0.7%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 0.5%, the Nasdaq pushed 0.4% higher and the S&P 500 was up 0.5%.

Some of the biggest gainers among transportation stocks include:

• Air Methods Corp (AIRM): AIRM stock is up 2.7% today.

• Landstar System (LSTR): LSTR stock is up 1.5% today.

• Amerco (UHAL): UHAL stock is up 1.5% today.

• J.B. Hunt Transport Services (JBHT): JBHT stock is up 1.4% today.

• Seacor Smit Inc (CKH): CKH stock is up 1.3%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII): HII stock is up 1.2% today.

• Golar Lng Partners LP (GMLP): GMLP stock is up 1.2% today.

• Swift Transportation Company (SWFT): SWFT stock is up 1.1% today.

• Wabtec Corp (WAB): WAB stock is up 1.0% today.

• Teekay Shipping Corp (TK): TK stock is up 1.0% today.

Some of the biggest losers among transportation stocks include:

• Alaska Air Group (ALK): ALK stock is down 0.3% today.

• American Railcar Industries (ARII): ARII stock is down 0.2% today.
