• Valhi Inc (VHI): VHI stock is up 1.3% today.

• Hudbay Minerals Inc (HBM): HBM stock is up 1.1% today.

• Kronos Worldwide Inc (KRO): KRO stock is up 0.8% today.

• Watts Water Technologies (WTS): WTS stock is up 1.1% today.

• Polyone Corp (POL): POL stock is up 0.8% today.

• Worthington Industries (WOR): WOR stock is up 1.1% today.

Some of the biggest losers among basic materials stocks include:

• Sinopec Shangai Petrochemical Company Ltd (SHI): SHI stock is down 4.7% today.

• Aluminum Corporation of China Ltd (ACH): ACH stock is down 4.2% today.

• New Gold Inc (NGD): NGD stock is down 2.2% today.

• Vedanta Limited (VEDL): VEDL stock is down 2.1% today.

• Barrick Gold Corp (ABX): ABX stock is down 1.7% today.

• Kinross Gold Corp (KGC): KGC stock is down 1.7% today.

• Agnico-Eagle Mines Limited (AEM): AEM stock is down 1.7% today.

• Hecla Mining Company (HL): HL stock is down 1.6% today.

• Copene-Petroquimica Do Nordeste (BAK): BAK stock is down 1.3%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
