More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.3%, the Nasdaq fell 0.2% and the S&P 500 declined 0.3%.

Some of the biggest gainers among consumer noncyclical stocks include:

• Inter Parfums (IPAR): IPAR stock is up 1.1% today.

• National Beverage (FIZZ): FIZZ stock is up 0.9%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Diamond Foods (DMND): DMND stock is up 0.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Compania Cervecerias Unidas S.A. (CCU): CCU stock is up 0.5% today.

• The Whitewave Foods Company (WWAV): WWAV stock is up 0.5% today.

• Altria Group (MO): MO stock is up 0.4% today.

• Dr Pepper Snapple Group Inc (DPS): DPS stock is up 0.4% today.

• Industrias Bachoco S.A. De C.V. (IBA): IBA stock is up 0.4% today.

• Boston Beer Company (SAM): SAM stock is up 0.3% today.

• Clorox Company (CLX): CLX stock is up 0.3% today.

Some of the biggest losers among consumer noncyclical stocks include:

• Dean Foods Company (DF): DF stock is down 1.7% today.

• Darling International Inc (DAR): DAR stock is down 1.4%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Pilgrim’s Pride Corp (PPC): PPC stock is down 1.3% today.

• Universal Corp (UVV): UVV stock is down 1.0% today.

• Kellogg Company (K): K stock is down 0.9% today.

• Kimberly-Clark Corp (KMB): KMB stock is down 0.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• J.M. Smucker Company (SJM): SJM stock is down 0.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Campbell Soup Company (CPB): CPB stock is down 0.6%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Hain Celestial Group (HAIN): HAIN stock is down 0.6% today.

• Molson Coors Brewing Company (TAP): TAP stock is down 0.6% today.
