More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 2.8%, the Nasdaq dropped 3.5% and the S&P 500 was down 2.8%.

- Novagold Resources Inc (NG): NG stock is up 4.3% today and up 27.1% in the last month.
- Agnico-Eagle Mines Ltd (AEM): AEM stock is up 3.1% today and up 28.0% in the last month.
- Gold Fields Ltd (GFI): GFI stock is up 1.7% today and up 46.7% in the last month.
- Schweitzer-Mauduit International (SWM): SWM stock is up 1.1% today.
- Compania Mina Buenaventura S.A. (BVN): BVN stock is up 0.3% today.
- Compass Minerals Intl Inc (CMP): CMP stock is up 0.5% today.
- Carpenter Technology Corp (CRS): CRS stock is up 0.7% today.
- Newmont Mining Corp (NEM): NEM stock is up 0.3% today.

- Sinopec Shangai Petrochemical Company Ltd (SHI): SHI stock is down 12.4% today and down 22.6% in the last month.
- Vedanta Ltd (VEDL): VEDL stock is down 9.9% today and down 37.3% in the last month.
- National Steel Corp (SID): SID stock is down 7.8% today and down 35.8% in the last month.
- Vale S.A. (VALE): VALE stock is down 6.5% today and down 20.4% in the last month.
- Aluminum Corporation of China Ltd (ACH): ACH stock is down 6.7% today.
- Gerdau S.A. (GGB): GGB stock is down 6.1% today and down 22.3% in the last month.
- Freeport-Mcmoran Inc (FCX): FCX stock is down 5.9% today.
- Teck Resources Ltd (TCK): TCK stock is down 5.6% today.
- Bhp Billiton Ltd (BHP): BHP stock is down 5.7% today.
- Quaker Chemical Corp (KWR): KWR stock is down 5.9% today.
