Battery: Apple (AAPL) has released a battery case for its iPhone 6s, reports MacRumors. The new case is called the Smart Battery Case and it was launched on the company’s online store last night. The new battery case will set customers back $99, but does include some unique features. It has iOS integration that allows users to check its charge level on their smartphones and has an extra antenna to help pick up cellular signals better. However, one disadvantage of the new Smart Battery Case it that it leaves phones with a protrusion on the back where the battery is housed. This leaves the rear of the iPhone 6s looking like it has a large lump on it.

Event: A new rumor claims that Apple is planning a March 2016 event to show off new tech, 9to5Mac notes. This event is rumored to be where the company will officially announce its Apple Watch 2. It claims that the new smartwatch would be released to customers in April following its announcement at this event. The rumor also suggests that the tech company will announced the 4-inch iPhone 6c at the event. Apple held a similar event to show off its upcoming devices in March of this year.

iOS: Apple has released iOS 9.2 to the public, reports BGR. The release of iOS 9.2 is mostly about bug fixes. However, it also includes the Safari View Controller for all compatible devices. Devices that can run iOS 9.2 include the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus back to the iPhone 4s –excluding the iPhone 5c–, the iPad 2 and up, iPad mini and up, the iPad Pro and the 5th and 6th generations of the iPod Touch. The new update can be downloaded over the air or from iTunes.
