Facebook Starts Testing Live Video Streaming for All Users

Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) is launching live video streaming for all users.

FacebookThe social media site first introduced the functionality for celebrities and other high-profile users. Now, it is making live video streaming available for all users.

Facebook launched a small test today that allows users to use a status menu to select “live video.” The company will eventually bring the feature to all users.

With Facebook streams, you can view the number of live viewers, the names of friends who are watching, and real-time comments as they’re written.

Facebook’s videos are saved on your timeline and they stay there unless you delete them.

FB stock is down 2.3% Thursday.
