Snapchat users across the world are reporting that the service is down for them.
Users started reporting that Snapchat was down early on Tuesday. The main areas that seem to be affected by this outage is the North East United States and Europe. The problem seems to be connected to server issues and not the new update for the app that was released Monday, reports Gotta Be Mobile.
Snapchat has confirmed that it’s having troubles with its service and that it’s working on the problem. Some users have been able to get the app to load, but are still unable to send Snaps. With Snapchat down, users are best off just waiting for official word from the company that the problem is fixed, rather than trying to use the app, Gotta Be Mobile notes.
‘We are experiencing an issue that is preventing some Snapchatters from posting and viewing Snaps and Stories,” Snapchat told Mashable. “We are working hard to solve this issue as quickly as possible and are very sorry for the inconvenience this is causing our community and partners.”
