Thursday Apple Rumors: Apple Releases Supplemental macOS High Sierra UpdatemacOS High Sierra Update: An additional update for macOS High Sierra is now available, reports 9to5Mac. This new update fixes several bugs and issues that were present in the previous version. Most notable of these problems was one that had to do with passwords for APFS drives. This problem had the passwords being stored in plain text. Also, when a person sought a hint to the password, the password was just shown instead.

iPhone X FCC: The iPhone X now has approval for sale in the U.S., MacRumors notes. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has given its approval to the device. This means that it passed all of the tests that it needed to for it to be sold in the country. The approval comes roughly one month prior to the launch date for the smartphone. Preorders for the iPhone X will start on Oct. 25, 2017.

iOS Edge: iPhone owners can now run the Edge web browser on their devices, reports AppleInsider. The new web browser was added for iPhone by Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) and lets users easily switch between the device and a computer. This is possible by having websites in use on the phone sent to the PC version of the web browser. This requires the person to be running Windows 10 with the 10 Fall Creator’s Update Insider Preview.
