Leading the Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) rumor mill today is news of an astounding collection of computers going up for sale. Today, we’ll look at that and other Apple Rumors for Wednesday.
Computer Sale: A repairman is selling his gigantic collection of AAPL computers, reports 9to5Mac. The collection belongs to Roland Borsky and includes more than 1,110 computers. Borsky has been running a repair shop since the 1980s, but is closing down. According to Borsky, the opening of a recent AAPL store in Venice killed his business. However, Borsky doesn’t want the computers to end up in a landfill, which is why he is trying to sell them.
Privacy: Apple is now letting U.S. customers download their private information, AppleInsider notes. Users of AAPL’s devices and services can do this by heading over to the company’s privacy website. The feature was added to the privacy website back in May for users living in the European Union. It is only just now being made available to those living in the U.S., as well as some other countries.
Refurbished MacBook Pro: Apple is now selling refurbished 2018 13-inch MacBook Pro computers on its store, reports MacRumors. This is the first time that AAPL has offered this model of MacBook Pro on its refurbished store. Customers that want a MacBook Pro, but are looking to save a little money can pick one up here. The prices are roughly 15% less than what they would pay for a new MacBook Pro of the same type.
