Leading the Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) rumor mill today is news of when the AirPods 2 may launch. Today, we’ll look at that and other Apple Rumors for Tuesday.
AirPods 2: A recent rumor claims that Apple won’t be releasing the next generation of AirPods until Fall, reports AppleInsider. This rumor is in contrast with others, which claim a Spring launch will occur. However, it does note that a wireless charging case for the AirPods will launch in Spring. It also says that there will be additional color options available for the AirPods 2.
WWDC 2019 Dates: It looks like we now know when WWDC 2019 will take place, MacRumors notes. Guess work says that Apple will hold the event from June 3 to June 7. This matches with previous WWDC dates being in the first half of June. An inside source also claims that the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, Calif., has a major event planned for this period. WWDC has taken place at this location for the last two years.
iPhone 11 Camera: Rumor has it Apple will be changing the rear camera on the iPhone 11, reports BGR. This rumor says that the tech company will be switching to a triple-lens rear camera for the iPhone 11. Largan Precision, one of AAPL’s main suppliers of camera lenses, says that it is expecting a large amount of shipments for a triple-lens camera later this year. It’s worth noting that Largan does supply lenses to other companies, but AAPL is one of its largest customers.
