Today is National Sandwich Day and you can celebrate with a free Subway sandwich.
Customers looking to get their hands on a free Subway sandwich will first have to make a purchase at the restaurant chain. The free sandwich is only available to those that purchase a sandwich and a 30 oz. drink in the same order.
There are also a couple of other limitations on the free subway sandwich deal. The first is that the free sub must be of an equal or lesser price to the first one. Customers can also only make use of the deal by heading into one of the restaurant chain’s locations.
The free Subway sandwich offer also has another advantage. For every customers that buys the food and drink required for the offer,
Subway will donate one meal to Feeding America. This marks the second year in a row that the chain has teamed up with the charity for National Sandwich Day.
New Yorkers can also celebrate National Sandwich Day with an event taking place at Madison Square Park. The event will include a “Live Feed” that will track the number of meals being donated. It will also have samples and giveaways for customers, plus a performance by Andy Grammer.
Subway also notes that there will be a kitchen at its National Sandwich Day celebration in NYC. This kitchen will allow customers to order food and drink to get the free Subway sandwich offer and donate a meal to Feeding America.
The free Subway sandwich offer is only available Friday, Nov. 3, 2017.
