Oscar de la Renta, a fashion designer, died at the age of 82 on Monday.
Oscar de la Renta was born in Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic, on July 22, 1932. After he graduated from high school, he went on to Madrid to study art. He died due to complications with cancer and is survived by his wife, son, three sisters, three stepchildren and nine stepgrandchildren, reports The New York Times.
