A Kiddie fire extinguisher recall has been put in place for 4.6 million of the devices.

The products affected by the Kiddie fire extinguisher recall have faulty valves which keep them from being able to discharge correctly. The name of the affected devices is “Kidde plastic valve disposable fire extinguishers.”

The Kiddie fire extinguisher recall affects 31 models. The model as listed below.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the devices affected by the Kiddie fire extinguisher recall. However, there have been 11 reports of the devices not working correctly. The fire extinguishers were sold at several retail locations and the recall dates include those from July 23, 2013 through October 15, 2014.
