Concept: Concept desinger Eric Huismann has released ideas for what Apple’s (AAPL) iPhone 7 could look like, reports Digital Trends. Huismann based his concept on recent rumors that the tech company will be doing away with the 3.5mm headphone jack in future devices. His concept shows a thinner iPhone without the headphone jack. It also includes a concept for a pair of EarPods that connect to devices via Bluetooth.
Lighting: A new Apple patent describes a smart lighting system to be used in its Stores, AppleInsider notes. The new patent gives light to a system that the company has already started using for its next generation Apple Stores. The system makes it so that diffused lighting is provided by the entire ceiling, rather than by just a few lights. The company claims that this is more appealing to customers. The patent mention that LED lights would be used to create the ceiling panels.
April: It’s looking like Apple’s new 4-inch iPhone will be coming out in April 2016, reports MacRumors. China Mobile, a wireless provider in China, has released its plans for 2016 and they include possible plans for a new 4-inch iPhone. The rumor claims that this will be the iPhone 7c. This falls in line with previous rumors that the tech company would release a new iPhone in early 2016. However, it’s unknown if this will actually occur and if the device will be part of the iPhone 7 line.
