MMA fighter Kevin Ferguson, better known as Kimbo Slice, passed away on Monday.
Kimbo Slice died at the age of 42 while in Florida. He was hospitalized on Monday and the cause of his death is currently unknown. Police searched his home after his hospitalization, but found nothing out of the ordinary.
Kimbo Slice’s death was confirmed by American Top Team, the athlete’s gym, and Scott Coker, the president of Bellator, which represented Slice. Both noted that they were sad to hear of his passing, reports USA Today.
“There is no foul play suspected and there is no investigation,” Sergeant Carla Kmiotek of the Coral Springs police told
Reuters. “It is being handled as a medical incident.”
