MockingJay Target to Introduce High End Hunger Games Swag Online OnlyFans of  The Hunger Games franchise will be able to purchase a variety of collectables paying homage to the series’ heroes at Target (NYSE:TGT).

The retailer has teamed up with Lions Gate Entertainment (NYSE:LGF) to offer a special collection of keepsakes and an exclusive three-disc version of the film with never-before-seen video from the movie set.

Although Target isn’t a luxury retailer, several of the collectables are considered high-end items and will sell at “premium” prices.

“Target is known for providing must-have merchandise at an unbeatable value,”  Target’s Vice President of Entertainment John Butcher said in a press release, “but we wanted to surprise our guests by taking it up a notch for ‘The Hunger Games’ and unveiling a prestige collection for devoted fans.”

The keepsakes, which will be available only in very limited quantities exclusively on Target.com, include:

  • 14-carat gold replicas of heroine Katniss Everdeen’s Mockingjay pin:  At $999, this is the most expensive swag item on the list.
  • Replicas of Katniss’ hunting jacket: This item will retail for  $349.
  • The Hunger Games lithographs: The lithographs are autographed by 10 top cast members including Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson, and will cost $699 each.

The premium items will be introduced one per day beginning on Saturday to coincide with the DVD release.

Target also is offering an assortment of additional merchandise inspired by the popular franchise — such as backpacks, jewelry, bookends (like the one pictured above), pillow cases and life-size cardboard cut-outs of movie characters Katniss, Peeta and Gale.
