Shutterfly to acquire Kodak GalleryDigital photo storage and printing company Shutterfly (NASDAQ:SFLY) announced on Tuesday that it had purchased MyPublisher.

Over the past few years, Shutterfly has acquired a number of smaller digital photo service providers, including Piglet and Penguin Digital. The company did not reveal the terms of its purchase of MyPublisher, which developed the first online custom photo book, the Silicon Valley Business Journal noted.

With more than 5 million customers, MyPublisher reportedly prints roughly 120 million photos each year. The company is based in New York.

Earlier this year, Shutterfly acquired online photo and video sharing company ThisLife, absorbing its creative team and assets.

Last year, Shutterfly paid $23.8 million to buy Eastman Kodak‘s (PINK:EKDEQ) online photo storage gallery, which had 75 million users.

Shares of Shutterfly slipped fractionally in Wednesday morning trading.
