2015 will mark a historic year in cinema as dozens of sequels to classic film franchises are set to hit the big screen.
Wall St Cheat Sheet came up with a list of 10 massive sequels coming out in 2015 and there’s plenty of action movies and comic book adaptations. Here are 10 of the biggest movie sequels coming out in 2015.
- Fantastic Four – 20th Century Fox (FOXA) is rebooting the classic franchise with a whole new cast.
- The Avengers: Age of Ultron – Disney (DIS) is coming out with another Avengers movie in an attempt to make the superhero franchise even bigger.
- Jurassic World – Not much has been released about the new Jurassic Park film but we do know that Spielberg won’t be directing it.
- Independence Day 2 – The classic Will Smith flick is finally getting a sequel and Roland Emmerich is directing the Independence Day sequel.
- Batman & Superman – The Man of Steel sequel will also feature Batman and it is expected to be a feast for superhero movie fans.
- Terminator 5 – Paramount Pictures (VIA) is rebooting the classic film franchise and there are rumors that Arnold Schwarzenegger might be in it.
- James Bond 24 – A new Bond film is coming out and Daniel Craig will be playing the womanizing spy once again.
- Finding Dory – The extremely popular film Finding Nemo is getting its sequel and it should be coming out in Nov. 2015.
- Star Wars: Episode VII – With JJ Abrams at the helm, many believe that Star Wars is finally making its comeback.
- Mission Impossible 5 – Tom Cruise is reprising his role as the spy who can do anything in the newest Mission Impossible movie.
