Healthcare stocks advanced 0.8% on Wall Street on Tuesday morning.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.5%, the Nasdaq increased 1.1% and the S&P 500 climbed 0.5%.

Some of the biggest gainers among healthcare stocks include:

  • Intuitive Surgical (ISRG): ISRG stock is up 14.3%, marking the sixth consecutive day the stock has increased.
  • Nektar Therapeutics (NKTR): NKTR stock is up 6.3% today.
  • Pacira Pharmaceuticals (PCRX): PCRX stock is up 5.0% today.
  • Questcor Pharmaceuticals (QCOR): QCOR stock is up 4.7% today.
  • Auxilium Pharmaceuticals (AUXL): AUXL stock is up 4.3% today.
  • Alexion Pharmaceuticals (ALXN): ALXN stock is up 4.4% today.
  • Celgene Corp (CELG): CELG stock is up 4.1% today.
  • Horizon Pharma Inc (HZNP): HZNP stock is up 4.1% today and up 23.1% in the last month.
  • Theravance (THRX): THRX stock is up 3.8% today.
  • Regeneron Pharmaceuticals (REGN): REGN stock is up 3.0% today.

  • Novo Nordisk A/S (NVO): NVO stock is down 0.7% today.
