More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 2.1%, the Nasdaq plummeted 3.1% and the S&P 500 fell 2.1%.

- Big Lots (BIG): BIG stock is up 1.0%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Redwood Trust (RWT): RWT stock is up 1.1% today.
- Philippine Long Distance Telephone (PHI): PHI stock is up 0.8% today.
- Hospitality Properites Trust (HPT): HPT stock is up 0.8%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Hatteras Financial Corp (HTS): HTS stock is up 0.7%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.
- AT&T Inc (T): T stock is up 0.7% today.
- Netease Inc (NTES): NTES stock is up 0.5%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Capstead Mortgage Corp (CMO): CMO stock is up 0.4% today.
- Shaw Communications Inc (SJR): SJR stock is up 0.4%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.
Some of the biggest losers among services stocks include:
- M.D.C. Partners Inc (MDCA): MDCA stock is down 5.3% today.
- Groupon Inc (GRPN): GRPN stock is down 4.9% today.
- Priceline.Com Inc (PCLN): PCLN stock is down 4.6% today on 2 times normal volume.
- Susser Holdings Corp (SUSS): SUSS stock is down 4.6% today.
- Restoration Hardware Holdings (RH): RH stock is down 4.4% today.
- Sears Holdings Corp (SHLD): SHLD stock is down 4.4%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Sinclair Broadcast Group (SBGI): SBGI stock is down 4.4% today.
- Wynn Resorts Limited (WYNN): WYNN stock is down 4.3% today.
- J2 Global Communications Inc (JCOM): JCOM stock is down 4.2% today.
- Grand Canyon Education (LOPE): LOPE stock is down 4.2% today.
