Transportation stocks finished down broadly 1.7% on Wall Street on Friday.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.8%, the Nasdaq declined 1.6% and the S&P 500 fell 0.8%.

Only one stock in the transportation sectors showed gains:

• Canadian Pacific Railway (CP): CP stock is up 1.4% today.

Some of the biggest losers among transportation stocks include:

• Copa Holdings S.A. (CPA): CPA stock is down 3.1% today.

• Allegiant Travel Company (ALGT): ALGT stock is down 2.1% today.

• Costamare Inc (CMRE): CMRE stock is down 2.0% today.

• Hornbeck Offshore Services (HOS): HOS stock is down 2.0% today.

• Amerco (UHAL): UHAL stock is down 1.9% today.

• Knight Transportation (KNX): KNX stock is down 1.6% today.

• Kansas City Southern (KSU): KSU stock is down 1.6%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Union Pacific Corp (UNP): UNP stock is down 1.5%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Seaspan Corp (SSW): SSW stock is down 1.4%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Genesee & Wyoming (GWR): GWR stock is down 1.4%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
