Transportation stocks advanced broadly on Wall Street on Tuesday morning, with the sector seeing an overall increase of 0.5%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average pushed 0.1% higher, the Nasdaq climbed 0.3% and the S&P 500 increased 0.1%.

Some of the biggest gainers among transportation stocks include:

• Canadian Pacific Railway (CP): CP stock is up 4.7%, marking the sixth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Dryships Inc (DRYS): DRYS stock is up 3.4%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• United Continental Holdings (UAL): UAL stock is up 2.8% today.

• Greenbrier Companies (GBX): GBX stock is up 2.4%, marking the sixth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Spirit Airlines Inc (SAVE): SAVE stock is up 2.4% today.

• Delta Air Lines Inc (DAL): DAL stock is up 2.0%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Werner Enterprises (WERN): WERN stock is up 1.5% today.

• Costamare Inc (CMRE): CMRE stock is up 1.4%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Ryanair Holdings Plc (RYAAY): RYAAY stock is up 1.4%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Alaska Air Group (ALK): ALK stock is up 1.3% today.

Some of the biggest losers among transportation stocks include:

• China Southern Airlines Company (ZNH): ZNH stock is down 2.5% to a new 52-week low of $15.37.

• Forward Air Corp (FWRD): FWRD stock is down 2.3% today.

• Gulfmark Offshore (GLF): GLF stock is down 1.3% today.

• Latam Airlines Group Sa (LFL): LFL stock is down 0.8% today.

• Hornbeck Offshore Services (HOS): HOS stock is down 0.9% today.

• Seacor Smit Inc (CKH): CKH stock is down 0.6% today.

• China Eastern Airlines Corp Ltd (CEA): CEA stock is down 0.4%, marking the seventh consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Guangshen Railway Company (GSH): GSH stock is down 0.4% today.

• Wabtec Corp (WAB): WAB stock is down 0.3% today.
