More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 0.5%, the Nasdaq rose 0.8% and the S&P 500 was up 0.5%.

- Mdu Res Group Inc (MDU): MDU stock is up 1.9% to a new 52-week high of $35.58.
- Covanta Holding Corp (CVA): CVA stock is up 1.2% today.
- Oge Energy Corp (OGE): OGE stock is up 1.2% today.
- Uil Holdings Corp (UIL): UIL stock is up 1.1% today.
- Ugi Corp (UGI): UGI stock is up 0.9% today.
- Vectren Corp (VVC): VVC stock is up 0.9% to a new 52-week high of $40.29.
- Southwest Gas Corp (SWX): SWX stock is up 0.8% today.
- Atmos Energy Corp (ATO): ATO stock is up 0.8% today.
- California Water Service Group Holding (CWT): CWT stock is up 0.8%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Cia De Saneamento Basico Do Estado (SBS): SBS stock is up 0.7%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

- Spectra Energy Corp (SE): SE stock is down 1.0% today.
- Energy Transfer Partners (ETP): ETP stock is down 0.9% today.
- Oneok Partners L.P. (OKS): OKS stock is down 0.7% today.
- Energy Transfer Equity LP (ETE): ETE stock is down 0.6% today.
- Kinder Morgan Energy Partners L.P. (KMP): KMP stock is down 0.5%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Markwest Energy Partners LP (MWE): MWE stock is down 0.5% today.
- Idacorp Inc (IDA): IDA stock is down 0.3%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Nextera Energy (NEE): NEE stock is down 0.3% today.
- One Gas Inc. (OGS): OGS stock is down 0.3% today.
- El Paso Electric Company (EE): EE stock is down 0.3% today.
