More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.5%, the Nasdaq climbed 0.4% and the S&P 500 increased 0.5%.

• Hornbeck Offshore Services (HOS): HOS stock is up 2.4% today.

• Golar Lng Limited (GLNG): GLNG stock is up 2.5% today.

• Scorpio Tankers Inc (STNG): STNG stock is up 1.5% today.

• Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII): HII stock is up 1.5% today.

• Grupo Aeroportuario Del Pacifico (PAC): PAC stock is up 1.1% today.

• Seaspan Corp (SSW): SSW stock is up 0.5% today.

• Costamare Inc (CMRE): CMRE stock is up 1.4% today.

• Greenbrier Companies (GBX): GBX stock is up 1.2% today.

• American Railcar Industries (ARII): ARII stock is up 1.2% today.

• Ship Finance International (SFL): SFL stock is up 1.0% today.

Some of the biggest losers among transportation stocks include:

• Spirit Airlines Inc (SAVE): SAVE stock is down 4.8%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Canadian Pacific Railway (CP): CP stock is down 2.7% today.

• Express-1 Expedited Solutions (XPO): XPO stock is down 1.6%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Ryanair Holdings Plc (RYAAY): RYAAY stock is down 1.1% today.

• Alaska Air Group (ALK): ALK stock is down 0.8%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• China Southern Airlines Company (ZNH): ZNH stock is down 0.9% to a new 52-week low of $15.00.

• Southwest Airlines Company (LUV): LUV stock is down 0.5%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Gaslog Ltd (GLOG): GLOG stock is down 0.5%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Golar Lng Partners LP (GMLP): GMLP stock is down 0.3% today.
