3 New Amazon TV Series for Kids Coming This Summer

Internet retail giant Amazon (AMZN) continues to add to its roster of original TV programming.

Starting in May, three new Amazon TV series for kids will hit Amazon Prime’s Instant Video streaming service. Amazon says the new Amazon TV series for kids are designed to “inspire kids to learn through creativity, imagination and play.”

Here are the three new Amazon TV series for kids:

  • Tumble Leaf (debuts on May 23) — The show follows “Fig the Fox and his best friend Stick as they discover adventure, friendship and love around every bend.” The show is aimed at pre-school aged children and seeks to “promote exploration and scientific thinking through play.”
  • Creative Galaxy (debuts on June 27) — Main characters Arty and Epiphany “travel around the galaxy to solve problems with art, inspiring creative thinking through crafts, music and dance.” The show is scripted to appeal to preschoolers and includes a a live-action segment detailing a craft project based on the episode
  • Annedroids (debuts on July 25) — Described as a “live-action adventure series about a young female genius, her human friends, android assistants and the amazing scientific discoveries they make while undertaking the biggest experiment of them all: growing up.”
