Consumer noncyclical stocks rose broadly on Wall Street on Wednesday, with the sector seeing an overall increase of 1.0%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 0.6%, the Nasdaq declined 0.3% and the S&P 500 pushed 0.6% higher.

Some of the biggest gainers among consumer noncyclical stocks include:

  • Treehouse Foods (THS): THS stock is up 3.3% to $76.36, near the 52-week high of $76.72.
  • Newell Rubbermaid Inc (NWL): NWL stock is up 3.0% today.
  • Gruma S.A. De C.V. (GMK): GMK stock is up 2.2%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.
  • Deluxe Corp (DLX): DLX stock is up 2.2% today.
  • Tupperware Corp (TUP): TUP stock is up 1.9% today.
  • Mccormick & Company Inc (MKC): MKC stock is up 1.8% today.
  • Coca Cola Hellenic Bottling Co (CCH): CCH stock is up 1.8% today.
  • J & J Snack Foods (JJSF): JJSF stock is up 1.8% today.
  • Anheuser-Busch Inbev Sa (BUD): BUD stock is up 1.7% today.
  • Reynolds American Inc (RAI): RAI stock is up 1.3% today.

Some of the biggest losers among consumer noncyclical stocks include:

  • Monster Beverage Corp (MNST): MNST stock is down 1.3%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
  • The Andersons (ANDE): ANDE stock is down 0.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
