Transportation stocks finished up 0.8% on Wall Street on Friday.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 0.4%, the Nasdaq increased 0.7% and the S&P 500 pushed 0.4% higher.

Some of the biggest gainers among transportation stocks include:

• Ship Finance International (SFL): SFL stock is up 3.6%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Air Methods Corp (AIRM): AIRM stock is up 2.1% today.

• Taminco Corporation Common Stoc (TAM): TAM stock is up 1.9% today.

• Amerco (UHAL): UHAL stock is up 1.7% today.

• Fedex Corp (FDX): FDX stock is up 1.6%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Knight Transportation (KNX): KNX stock is up 1.4%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Hub Group (HUBG): HUBG stock is up 1.4%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Swift Transportation Company (SWFT): SWFT stock is up 1.3%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Werner Enterprises (WERN): WERN stock is up 1.2% today.

• Copa Holdings S.A. (CPA): CPA stock is up 1.2% today.

Only one stock in the transportation sectors showed losses:

• Golar Lng Partners LP (GMLP): GMLP stock is down 0.3% today.
