More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.3%, the Nasdaq was down 0.2% and the S&P 500 declined 0.3%.

Some of the biggest gainers among capital goods stocks include:

• U.S. Silica Holdings Inc (SLCA): SLCA stock is up 0.6% today.

• Embraer-Empresa Brasileira De Aeronautica (ERJ): ERJ stock is up 0.7% today.

• Forest City Ent Cl A (FCE.A): FCE.A stock is up 0.4%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Elbit Systems Ltd (ESLT): ESLT stock is up 0.4% today.

• Fortune Brands Home & Security (FBHS): FBHS stock is up 0.4%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

Some of the biggest losers among capital goods stocks include:

• Donaldson Company (DCI): DCI stock is down 4.1% today.

• Heico Corp (HEI): HEI stock is down 2.1% today.

• Orbital Sciences Corp (ORB): ORB stock is down 2.8% today.

• NCI Building Systems (NCS): NCS stock is down 2.4% today.

• Tennant Company (TNC): TNC stock is down 2.2% today.

• Wesco Aircraft Holdings Inc (WAIR): WAIR stock is down 2.3% today.

• Primoris Services Corp (PRIM): PRIM stock is down 2.4% today.

• Barnes Group (B): B stock is down 2.1% today.

• Alliant Techsystems Inc (ATK): ATK stock is down 2.0% today.

• Fastenal Company (FAST): FAST stock is down 1.8% today.
