Transportation stocks rose broadly on Wall Street so far on Wednesday, with the sector seeing an overall increase of 0.8%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 0.6%, the Nasdaq pushed 0.5% higher and the S&P 500 was up 0.6%.

Some of the biggest gainers among transportation stocks include:

• Greenbrier Companies (GBX): GBX stock is up 4.5% to a new 52-week high of $52.89.

• United Continental Holdings (UAL): UAL stock is up 3.0% today.

• China Southern Airlines Company (ZNH): ZNH stock is up 2.4% today.

• China Eastern Airlines Corp Ltd (CEA): CEA stock is up 2.3% today.

• Dryships Inc (DRYS): DRYS stock is up 1.3% today.

• Delta Air Lines Inc (DAL): DAL stock is up 1.2% today.

• Ryanair Holdings Plc (RYAAY): RYAAY stock is up 1.3% today.

• Gaslog Ltd (GLOG): GLOG stock is up 1.3% today.

• Alexander and Baldwin Inc (ALEX): ALEX stock is up 1.0% today.

• CSX Corp (CSX): CSX stock is up 1.0% today.

Some of the biggest losers among transportation stocks include:

• Guangshen Railway Company (GSH): GSH stock is down 1.0% to a new 52-week low of $18.11.

• Latam Airlines Group Sa (LFL): LFL stock is down 1.1% today.

• Air Methods Corp (AIRM): AIRM stock is down 0.5% today.

• Golar Lng Partners LP (GMLP): GMLP stock is down 0.6% today.

• Allegiant Travel Company (ALGT): ALGT stock is down 0.4% today.
