Some of the biggest gainers among basic materials stocks include:

• Eldorado Gold Corp (EGO): EGO stock is up 3.6% today and up 29.2% in the last month.

• Methanex Corp (MEOH): MEOH stock is up 1.5% today.

• Stillwater Mining Company (SWC): SWC stock is up 2.0%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Teck Resources Ltd (TCK): TCK stock is up 1.7% today.

• Compania Mina Buenaventura S.A. (BVN): BVN stock is up 1.4%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Green Plains Renewable Energy (GPRE): GPRE stock is up 1.3%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• H. B. Fuller Company (FUL): FUL stock is up 1.3% today.

• Mueller Water Products (MWA): MWA stock is up 2.0% today.

• Iamgold Corp (IAG): IAG stock is up 1.2% today and up 31.8% in the last month.

• Yamana Gold (AUY): AUY stock is up 1.1% today.

Some of the biggest losers among basic materials stocks include:

• E.I. Du Pont De Nemours and Company (DD): DD stock is down 2.9% today.

• Commercial Metals Company (CMC): CMC stock is down 2.4% today.

• Valhi Inc (VHI): VHI stock is down 2.7% today.

• Gerdau S.A. (GGB): GGB stock is down 1.8%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• DOW Chemical Company (DOW): DOW stock is down 1.3% today.

• Hecla Mining Company (HL): HL stock is down 1.2% today.

• Cliffs Natural Resources Inc (CLF): CLF stock is down 1.2% today.

• Rio Tinto Plc (RIO): RIO stock is down 0.9% today.

• Sasol Ltd (SSL): SSL stock is down 1.0% today.

• Arcelormittal (MT): MT stock is down 0.9%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
