Transportation stocks declined broadly on Wall Street today, with the sector seeing an overall decline of 1.1%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 0.5%, the Nasdaq was steady and the S&P 500 was down 0.5%.

Some of the biggest gainers among transportation stocks include:

• Teekay Shipping Corp (TK): TK stock is up 0.9% today.

• Taminco Corporation Common Stoc (TAM): TAM stock is up 0.5% today on 11 times normal volume.

• China Eastern Airlines Corp Ltd (CEA): CEA stock is up 0.3% today.

• Macquarie Infrastructure Company Trust (MIC): MIC stock is up 0.3% today.

Some of the biggest losers among transportation stocks include:

• Heartland Express (HTLD): HTLD stock is down 2.1% today.

• Swift Transportation Company (SWFT): SWFT stock is down 2.0% today.

• Greenbrier Companies (GBX): GBX stock is down 1.8%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Gulfmark Offshore (GLF): GLF stock is down 1.6% today.

• Spirit Airlines Inc (SAVE): SAVE stock is down 1.6% today.

• Delta Air Lines Inc (DAL): DAL stock is down 1.3%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• J.B. Hunt Transport Services (JBHT): JBHT stock is down 1.3% today.

• Seacor Smit Inc (CKH): CKH stock is down 1.2% today.

• Norfolk Southern Corp (NSC): NSC stock is down 1.2% today.

• Kirby Corp (KEX): KEX stock is down 1.1% today.
