- Gold Fields Ltd (GFI): GFI stock is up 3.3% today.
- Compania Mina Buenaventura S.A. (BVN): BVN stock is up 3.1%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Anglogold Ashanti Ltd (AU): AU stock is up 2.7% today.
- First Majestic Silver (AG): AG stock is up 2.6% today and up 28.8% in the last month.
- Pan American Silver (PAAS): PAAS stock is up 2.3% today and up 24.1% in the last month.
- Yamana Gold (AUY): AUY stock is up 2.1% today.
- Southern Peru Copper Corp (SCCO): SCCO stock is up 2.1%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Hecla Mining Company (HL): HL stock is up 2.1% today and up 24.5% in the last month.
- Iamgold Corp (IAG): IAG stock is up 2.0%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
Some of the biggest losers among basic materials stocks include:
- Grupo Simec S.A. De C.V. (SIM): SIM stock is down 1.7% today.
- H. B. Fuller Company (FUL): FUL stock is down 1.6% today.
- Sealed Air Corp (SEE): SEE stock is down 1.5% today.
- Airgas Inc (ARG): ARG stock is down 0.9% today on 3 times normal volume.
- Precision Castparts Corp (PCP): PCP stock is down 0.8% today.
- Bhp Billiton Limited (BHP): BHP stock is down 0.6% today.
- Sun Hydraulics Corp (SNHY): SNHY stock is down 0.6% today.
- Kapstone Paper and Packaging Corp (KS): KS stock is down 0.6% today.
- Calgon Carbon Corp (CCC): CCC stock is down 0.6% today.
- Polypore International Inc (PPO): PPO stock is down 0.6% today.
