Some of the biggest gainers among capital goods stocks include:

• Forest City Ent Cl A (FCE.A): FCE.A stock is up 1.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Ingersoll-Rand Plc (Ireland) (IR): IR stock is up 1.5% today.

• Caterpillar Inc (CAT): CAT stock is up 1.4% today.

• Tennant Company (TNC): TNC stock is up 1.4% today.

• Fastenal Company (FAST): FAST stock is up 1.2% today on 2 times normal volume.

• Louisiana-Pacific Corp (LPX): LPX stock is up 1.1% today.

• Spirit Aerosystems Holdings (SPR): SPR stock is up 1.0% today.

• Deere & Company (DE): DE stock is up 1.0% today.

• Kennametal Inc (KMT): KMT stock is up 0.9% today.

• Wesco Aircraft Holdings Inc (WAIR): WAIR stock is up 0.9% today.

Some of the biggest losers among capital goods stocks include:

• The Middleby Corp (MIDD): MIDD stock is down 0.9% today and down 69.2% in the last month.

• Empresas Ica Soc Contrladora (ICA): ICA stock is down 0.8% today.

• Heico Cp Cl A (HEI.A): HEI.A stock is down 0.8% today.

• Beacon Roofing Supply (BECN): BECN stock is down 0.7%, marking the eighth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Armstrong World Industries Inc (AWI): AWI stock is down 0.6% today.

• Tutor Perini Corp (TPC): TPC stock is down 0.6% today.

• Heico Corp (HEI): HEI stock is down 0.6% today.

• Exelis Inc. Common Stock New Wh (XLS): XLS stock is down 0.5% today.

• Harsco Corp (HSC): HSC stock is down 0.5% today.
