- Gold Fields Ltd (GFI): GFI stock is up 2.6% today.
- Century Aluminum Company (CENX): CENX stock is up 2.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Iamgold Corp (IAG): IAG stock is up 1.6% today.
- New Gold Inc (NGD): NGD stock is up 1.8% today.
- Newmont Mining Corp (NEM): NEM stock is up 1.8% today.
- Harmony Gold Mining Co. Ltd (HMY): HMY stock is up 1.7% today.
Some of the biggest losers among basic materials stocks include:
- Sinopec Shangai Petrochemical Company Ltd (SHI): SHI stock is down 2.2% today.
- Greif Bros. Corp (GEF.B): GEF.B stock is down 1.4%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Rio Tinto Plc (RIO): RIO stock is down 1.3% today.
- Schweitzer-Mauduit International (SWM): SWM stock is down 0.8% today.
- Stepan Company (SCL): SCL stock is down 0.9% today.
- Olin Corp (OLN): OLN stock is down 0.8% today.
- Kronos Worldwide Inc (KRO): KRO stock is down 0.6% today.
- Circor International (CIR): CIR stock is down 0.5% today.
