- Commercial Metals Company (CMC): CMC stock is up 1.9% today.
- Sealed Air Corp (SEE): SEE stock is up 1.7% today.
- Globe Specialty Metals Inc (GSM): GSM stock is up 1.7% today.
- Westlake Chemical Corp (WLK): WLK stock is up 1.7% today.
- Allegheny Technologies Inc (ATI): ATI stock is up 1.5% today.
- Polypore International Inc (PPO): PPO stock is up 1.5% today.
- Trex Company (TREX): TREX stock is up 1.5% today and up 30.5% in the last month.
Some of the biggest losers among basic materials stocks include:
- Berry Plastics Group Inc (BERY): BERY stock is down 1.9% today.
- Grupo Simec S.A. De C.V. (SIM): SIM stock is down 1.7% today.
- Plum Creek Timber Company (PCL): PCL stock is down 1.5% today.
- Greif Bros. Corp (GEF): GEF stock is down 1.0%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Fibria Celulose S.A. (FBR): FBR stock is down 0.9% today.
- Terra Nitrogen Company L.P. (TNH): TNH stock is down 0.8% today.
- Cf Industries Holdings (CF): CF stock is down 0.6% today.
- Barrick Gold Corp (ABX): ABX stock is down 0.6% today.
- Randgold Resources Limited (GOLD): GOLD stock is down 0.6% today.
