It looks like there may be another polar vortex ahead, according to the Old Farmers Almanac’s winter weather predictions.

The almanac was published on Wednesday and among its weather predictions was a “super-cold” winter in the eastern part of the US.
The Old Farmers Almanac believes that tons of snowfall could accompany this weather. Meanwhile, the west will be slightly warmer than normal throughout the year.
California’s drought is likely to continue and hurricane season should be relatively uneventful next year. The almanac also predicts that summer weathers will be warmer than usual in most places.
The Old Farmers Almanac uses data from weather patterns and meteorology to make weather predictions. Historically, it’s had an 80% success rate.
