More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average stayed the same, the Nasdaq increased 0.1% and the S&P 500 stayed level.

Some of the biggest gainers among transportation stocks include:

• Scorpio Tankers Inc (STNG): STNG stock is up 0.9% today.

• Ship Finance International (SFL): SFL stock is up 0.8% today.

• Uti Worldwide Inc (UTIW): UTIW stock is up 0.5% today.

• CSX Corp (CSX): CSX stock is up 0.3%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• GATX Corp (GMT): GMT stock is up 0.3%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Navios Maritime Partners LP (NMM): NMM stock is up 0.3% today.

• Landstar System (LSTR): LSTR stock is up 0.2%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

Some of the biggest losers among transportation stocks include:

• J.B. Hunt Transport Services (JBHT): JBHT stock is down 1.1% today.

• Kirby Corp (KEX): KEX stock is down 1.0% today.

• Greenbrier Companies (GBX): GBX stock is down 0.8% today.

• Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII): HII stock is down 0.6% today.

• Wabtec Corp (WAB): WAB stock is down 0.6% today.

• Heartland Express (HTLD): HTLD stock is down 0.5% today.

• United Parcel Service (UPS): UPS stock is down 0.5% today.

• Costamare Inc (CMRE): CMRE stock is down 0.4%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Guangshen Railway Company (GSH): GSH stock is down 0.4%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Forward Air Corp (FWRD): FWRD stock is down 0.4% today.
