This could include the next generation of the company’s iPad Air and iPad mini. This would fall in line with previous releases of Apple’s iPads. The October event could also be used to show off the company’s OS X Yosemite and its new Apple Pay feature that will be coming to iOS 8.

iPod: Apple may be getting ready to launch a new generation of the iPod Touch, reports The Christian Post. Rumors claim that the new generation of the iPod Touch will be showed off during the company’s October event. Other rumors claim that the device will include Apple’s Touch ID, which makes for added security on the company’s devices. It’s also thought that the iPod Touch 6G could be using the company’s iOS 8. The release would match up with the company’s previous release of the fifth generation iPod, which was released shortly after the iPhone 5.
