• Eldorado Gold Corp (EGO): EGO stock is up 1.5% today.

• Iamgold Corp (IAG): IAG stock is up 1.4% today.

• Sonoco Products Company (SON): SON stock is up 1.3% today on 2 times normal volume.

• Randgold Resources Limited (GOLD): GOLD stock is up 1.0% today.

• Century Aluminum Company (CENX): CENX stock is up 0.8% today and up 39.2% in the last month.

• Pan American Silver (PAAS): PAAS stock is up 0.7% today.

• First Majestic Silver (AG): AG stock is up 0.4% today.

• Bhp Billiton Limited (BHP): BHP stock is up 0.3% today.

Some of the biggest losers among basic materials stocks include:

• Sociedad Quimica Y Minera S.A. (SQM): SQM stock is down 2.8% today.

• United States Steel Corp (X): X stock is down 2.6% today.

• Sun Hydraulics Corp (SNHY): SNHY stock is down 2.4% today.

• Mueller Water Products (MWA): MWA stock is down 2.4% today.

• Kapstone Paper and Packaging Corp (KS): KS stock is down 2.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Stillwater Mining Company (SWC): SWC stock is down 1.8% today.

• Leucadia National Corp (LUK): LUK stock is down 1.7% today.

• H. B. Fuller Company (FUL): FUL stock is down 1.7%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Allegheny Technologies Inc (ATI): ATI stock is down 1.6% today.

• Westlake Chemical Corp (WLK): WLK stock is down 1.6% today.
